Nice to meet you! I’m Alyssa!
I’m a graduate student at the University of California Berkeley, Master of Information Management and Systems program with a focus on UX/UI Design. I hail from sunny southern California where I earned my B.A. in the Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts Major at UC San Diego. On a typical day, I can be found deliberately getting lost in a museum, writing/doodling my ideas out, or pondering cosmic questions.
I decided to go into UX/UI Design from my previous background as a graphic designer; I wanted to create something more empathetic to other’s needs. The way we handle problems, be it as small as a personal inconvenience to as catastrophic as a global emergency, can be as simple or as complex as the way we interact with the digital world. With information so readily available in this day and age, it is my vision that knowledge and resources be brought ever-closer to the heart of accessibility for all.
